Getting to know Joshua

IFS Employee Spotlight Josh

A: What is your title at IFS?

J: Finance Advisor

A: How long have you been employed with IFS?

J: Nine months.

A: What do you like the most about IFS?

J: The opportunity, the atmosphere, and the people I work with.

A: Is there a fond or funny IFS memory or story you’d like to share?

J: My learning curve may have been longer than most, but the QAs and underwriters were so patient with me. I’m quite sure I drove them crazy the first few months!

A: What is your dream car and why?

J: For looks it has to be a 2017 Ferrari GTO, but I will gladly take a 2017 GMC Denali with a matching bass boat behind it!

A: Do you lease or buy?

J: Buy. I have two years left on my 2010 Dodge Avenger.  LTV Nightmare, I am fully aware!

A: What was your first car?

J: 1993 Honda Civic EX with a sunroof!  Great vehicle until it was stolen outside my first apartment two months after I paid it off and dropped to liability insurance only – ouch!

A: What is something your coworkers probably don’t know about you?

J: I wanted to be a drug and alcohol counselor heading into school and majored in psychology in college.

A: What is a personal motto or mantra that you live by?

J: “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care!”

A: What are you the most proud of?

J: My family! My beautiful wife, three awesome kids – daughters nine and 13 years old, and my son is 15 years old.  Sammi our first dog is now three years old.

A:  What are the top three things on your bucket list?

J: Fishing trip to Canada with the family flying in and landing on the lake. Owning a house in Mexico on the beach.  Witnessing the Denver Nuggets win an NBA championship
