The Austin American Statesman named Innovative Funding Services (IFS) to its list of Top Workplaces of Greater Austin 2016 in the under 150 employee category. The Top Workplaces lists are based on an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement. Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including Alignment, Execution, and Connection, just to name a few.
“IFS has always had a family feel. We offer many benefits at IFS, but what makes IFS special is the causal, fun culture that we’ve built together. Even as our growth takes us well passed 100 employees, we will continue to focus on building an environment where everyone feels they belong,” said Tim Janssen, President of IFS.
At IFS, the calendar is always marked with special occasions from a competitive Halloween costume contest and a festive holiday party, to surprise birthday celebrations and company meals. Team building is an important part of maintaining IFS’s tightknit culture, and so the company’s management is always open to new opportunities for bringing everyone together.
“As a company, we are constantly looking for ways to invest in our team, whether it be adding new benefits like Volunteer Time Off and Education Savings Accounts or in team building events. We do this because we see the benefits of a great work environment both in the hard work everyone puts in and in the smiles and laughter we see daily,” said Rob McKie, Chief Operating Officer of IFS.
IFS also empowers its employees to get involved in the community. Volunteer Time Off gives employees the ability to take time to help with worthy causes without losing a day of pay. And with the partnerships IFS has forged with Austin-area nonprofits like the Junior Achievement of Central Texas and the recent founding of IFS’s affiliate nonprofit The Hourglass Foundation, employees don’t have to look far for opportunities to serve others.
IFS employees receive many benefits including competitive pay, employer sponsored insurance plans, a 401k plan with employer contribution, and education savings accounts.
