IFS COVID-19 Updates: Operations Open

Last Update: April 3, 2020

IFS serves customers in all parts of the country, and we understand that responding to preventive actions to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) is critically important. We are doing all we can to care for the health and safety of our employees and community.

We are open for business, and we are taking appropriate measures to remain open so that we can continue to support our customers auto finance decisions during these unusual times. The nature of our process allows us to continue to serve customers wherever they are, whether they are are refinancing an auto loan or purchasing a vehicle.

Please note, we need to ask for your patience regarding titling & registration of vehicles. We anticipate delays during our titling & registration process due to suspended and reduced operations by many DMV offices across the country (see list below). For those DMV offices which remain open, we will continue business as usual.

Regarding temporary permits, the State of Texas has temporarily extended all 30-day temporary permits, which IFS issues on purchase transaction. Read more at the State of Texas Governor’s website.

Please check back to this page for any updates regarding IFS’s response to COVID-19 and changes at different states’ Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) that may impact the timelines of vehicle titling & registration.

We will continue to monitor this quickly evolving situation, and we are here to assist you in every possible way. Should you have any questions, please reach out to your IFS agent or contact us.
